I am a dedicated and experienced researcher specializing in the development of deep neural networks to solve diverse machine learning problems, including supervised, unsupervised, and generative tasks.

Some of my academic interest in the application of ML and DL techniques are:

  1. Prediction of new crystalline materials for optoelectronic devices.
  2. Extending the capabilities of the characterization techniques for materials.
  3. Natural language processing applied to scientific literature.

Offered courses

  1. «Introduction to Machine Learning and Deep Learning”. A series of self-organized courses aimed at introducing these topics to the Mexican population. The courses are offered under the social retribution policy of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The courses have been offered virtually on the following dates: July 15-18th 2024; August 10th – September 28th, 2024 (weekly); and October 17th – December 5th, 2024 (weekly); May 17th – July 5th 2025 (weekly).
